Despicable me 2
Despicable Me
2 is a universal pictures production. This movie is a sequel to the first movie
Despicable me. In this movie Gru a
retired villain is kidnapped by Lucy Wilde an agent from the AVL (anti villain
league.) They chose him because he was a villain so they want him to capture
the person who took the science lab that held a powerful serum that makes
anything that has been shot by it very vicious. At first Gru says no to the job
but later on he thinks it’s a good idea. Gru and Lucy go under cover as workers
at bake my day in the mall to find out who they should watch out for. At first
Gru thinks that the one who stole the serum is Eduardo who owns the Mexican
food place but Lucy thinks it’s the guy who works at the wig shop because they
find an empty bottle of serum there. When Gru gets home Agnes tells him that he
loves Lucy but he says that their relations ship is very professional. After
they take away the guys who owns the wig shop Lucy is reassigned to an
important job in Australia. Once she is gone Gru realizes that he really did
love Lucy. Gru and his family are invited to a party at Eduardo’s and Gru finds
out that it was really him who stole the serum. Gru also sees that his sidekick
Dr. Nefario is working for Eduardo (el macho.) They have taken many of Gru’s
minions and mutated them so instead of being yellow and cute they are purple
and ugly. Gru along with Dr.Nefario and his daughters they turn all the minions
back to normal then El Macho takes the serum himself and he turns all ugly and
purple then they use a fart gun to make him pass out so they can use Lucy’s
lipstick Taser and over power him. Lucy is attached to a TNT rocket that is
going to land in a volcano and Gru starts to untie her then the rocket takes
off and just before the volcano they jump and land in the water. In the end Gru
and Lucy end up getting married and the minions finish it all off by singing
Y.M.C.A.
I picked despicable me 2 for my number 1 movie because it was
probably my favourite movie of 2013. I also picked it because I saw the first
movie but I liked this one better. My favourite part of the whole movie was
where gru gets kidnapped by Lucy then takes him to the lab but the minions go
to and when Sialas Ramsbottom introduces himself the minions laugh when he says
bottom. That is why it is my number one
movie
Monsters University
Monsters
University is a movie produced by Pixar animation studios and was released by
Walt Disney pictures. It is a prequel to monsters Inc. which was released in
2001, it was the first time Pixar has made a prequel to any of their movies. MU
tells us about Mike and Sulley 2 monsters that go to monsters university and
how thy start off not being friends but soon they become best friends. When he
arrives to his room he meets his roommate Randy (aka Randle his enemy from the
first movie.) Mike and Randle are both scaring majors and on their first day
Mike meets James P Sullivan (sulley.) They are very different from each other
because Sulley is a big, Blue, furry monster and Mike is a small, green, scaly
monster with one eye. At the beginning of the movie Mike doesn’t like Sulley
because Sulley didn’t have to work as hard because his dad was a very good
scarer so he got in because h was a Sullivan where Mike had to study very hard
to get into the scare program. At their scare exam they both fail so Sulley get
kicked out of ROR (Roar Omega Roar) and Mike is devastated because ever since
he was small he wanted to be a scarer but he doesn’t give up he signs up for
the scare games on the oozma kappa team but they are one member short until
sulley volunteers to be on the team. In
the first challenge they finish last so they are eliminated but they get back
in because one team was disqualified they complete the second challenge and do
well in the other ones. In the last challenge Mike finds out that sulley
cheated because he made it so that no matter what mike would scare the kid. So
mike goes into the human world where there is a cabin full of kids which he
cannot scare, Sulley tells Hardscrabble that he did t and they go into the
human world to save mike. Hardscrabble expelled them so they got kicked out but
they found a job working in the mailroom at monsters Inc. and eventually they
end up working their way to the scare team and they are one of the best teams.
I picked Monsters University for my second movie because I
saw monsters Inc. and I thought that was I good movie so I went to see this in
the theater and it was really good. My favourite part was when oozma kappa kept
getting second in all the challenges and ROR was getting mad because OK was in
second place. That’s why I picked Monsters University as my second movie.
Fast and the furious 6
Fast and the
furious 6 is the 6th movie in the fast and the furious series of
movies. It was released on May 24.2014. Starring in the movie Vin Diesel who
plays Dominic Toretto, Paul Walker who play Brian O’Conner, Dwayne Johnson who
plays Luke Hobbs (US Diplomat Security Service Agent). Agent Hobbs bring Dominic group back together
to help him take down a skilled crime organization. In turn for helping Hobbs, Dominic’s group
will get their criminals records cleared and be able to return to their home
countries. While researching the
organization they find out Dom’s past love Letty is still live. In past movies it had looked like she had
past away in a firey car crash. The only
catch is she doesn’t remember any of them due to memory loss. After many encounters between Letty and Dom
Letty’s memory starts to come back. Even
though she is working for the bad guys, she starts to merge with Dom and his
team. After lots of fights car races and
car crashed, the bad team is taken down and Dom and his team are free of past
crimes and can start their lives over in the US once again.
I picked fast and the furious 6 for my third movie because I
went to see it with my family for my dad’s birthday and I thought it was pretty
good. I also picked it because Paul walker died this past year and he was in
the movie and he is a pretty good actor.
That is why I picked that movie.
White house down
White House
Down was released on June 28, 2013.
Staring in the movie is Channing Tatum, who plays John Cale, Jamie Fox,
who plays the US president, and Joey King, who plays Emily Cale. White House Down is one of the two movies from
2013 that deals with a terrorist attack on the White House. While John Cale and his daughter are on a
tour of the White House, terrorists bomb the center of the US capital. Cale and his daughter Emily get separated while
the White House is being put on Lockdown.
Cale manages to get free from the Hostage group to find his
daughter. The President is escorted to a
secure Command Center under the Pentagon by Martin Walker. Who then reveals himself as the leader of the
terriosts. After lots of gun fighting
and explosions, their made aware of walkers reasoning. Walkers son was killed in combat in Afghanistan. While this is going on the Presidential name
changes hands many times, and one of the Presidents instructs Delta Force to
take back the White House. Cale finally
kills Walker while is daughter stops the Delta Force attack by waving a US flag
on the front lawn of the White House.
The President is saved and Cale is given a job with the Secret
Service.
I picked
white house down as my fourth movie because I really liked that movie and thought
it was really good. It was also really good because it had Channing Tatum in the
movie and it was really good. That’s why it is my fourth favourite movie of
2013.
One
Direction this is us is about how Niall, Louis, Harry, Liam, and Zayn live
together on the road. The movie starts out with showing their life before they
became famous it shows their small houses and where they used to work, like
Harry used to work at a bakery with a bunch of old ladies. In the beginning it
shows each of the boys auditioning for the X-Factor. They made it to the last
24 boys but they didn’t get put through. Simon calls all 5 boys back on stage
and tells them that they are going to sing in a group instead of individually. Singing
as the group they got 3rd place in the X-Factor. It says at one
point in the movie how one direction went from the bottom of the charts to the
number 1 spot in more than 37 countries, it also says that even the Beatles
weren’t that popular that early in their career. The boys have an on road
family also known as their security, the band members, and the wardrobe and
hair stylist. In the movie it shows them playing concerts in many different
parts of the world like the O2 arena in London, Madison square garden and many
more. In the movie they preform many songs like what makes you beautiful,
little things, one thing, up all night and many more. Starring in the movie is
Simon Cowell, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam
Payne.
I picked the
One Direction movie as my number five movie because I really like one
direction. I also picked it because it was a good movie and that is why it is
my Fifth favourite movie of 2013.
